WATERVILLE, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy men's cross country team returned to the course on Saturday competing at the Thomas Terrier Invitational hosted by Thomas College.
MMA finished second behind Thomas with 30 points to the Terriers 27, while Husson finished third with 92 points.
Senior
Cooper Parlee and sophomore
William Spaulding led the way for the Mariners, both clocking a 27:03.1 to finish first and second, respectively.
Freshman
Owen Dawson finished sixth overall with a time of 28:49.1, while junior
Logan Serpico recorded a 10th-place performance at 30:08.8 and sophomore
James Brubeck concluded the Mariners scoring five runners with a time of 30:10.6.
Freshman
Asher Michalski finished with a time of 32:12.4, while freshman
Matthew Tita clocked a 33:53.6, sophomore
Ethan Tardy (34:34.2) and senior
Jonathan Manning (40:23.9).
The Mariners will now challenge for the North Atlantic Conference Championship on Nov. 1
