CASTINE, Maine — Maine Maritime Academy women's soccer sophomore
Hadley Stoddard punched in her league-leading 18th goal in the 75th minute to help the Mariners earn a 1-1 draw with Husson University in their regular-season finale at home on Saturday.
Husson (11-4-2, 7-0-2 NAC) and Maine Maritime (10-6-1, 6-2-1 NAC) battled to a scoreless first half in Saturday's North Atlantic Conference showdown.
The Eagles broke through in the 69th minute with a goal off a free kick, but Stoddard answered six minutes later to even the score at 1-1.
Husson held a 23-6 advantage in shots, while the Mariners put three on target and nearly found the net twice in the first half when attempts hit the crossbar and bounced away.
