Playoff Preview: Men’s soccer battles Thomas on the road in NAC semifinal

The Series: The Mariners head into their meeting with No. 1 seed Thomas on Saturday with a 12-36-5 all-time record against the Terriers dating back to the first meeting back in 1974. Thomas has one four-straight over MMA including a 2-0 win at Thomas during the regular season. 
Maine Maritime at a Glance: The Mariners picked up a NAC quarterfinal victory over the University of Maine at Farmington on Wednesday winning 3-2 backed by goals from junior's Aiden Burr and Gabriel Toledo and senior John-John Dickenson. Toledo also finished with two assists.
Thomas at a Glance: The Terriers host the Mariners after earning a bye in the opening round led by David Ivarsson who tied for the team lead with 15 goals and added a team-high 12 assists. Shafi Ibrahim tied Ivarsson for the team lead with 15 goals, adding seven assists while Micky Woodrow finished third on the team with seven goals. In goal, Thomas is anchored by Jamie Fischer who finished the season with a 1.52 goals against average and 75 saves.
