CASTINE--The Maine Maritime Academy men's lacrosse team wrapped up the No. 1 seed in the upcoming North Atlantic Conference Tournament on Wednesday evening after doubling up local rival Husson University, 18-9, at home at Ritchie Field. Maine Maritime improves to 7-5 on the season and 4-0 in the NAC, while the visiting Eagles drops to 7-6 overall and 1-2 in the conference.

- After spotting Husson a 1-0 lead on a goal by Field just 43 seconds into the contest, MMA reeled off 12 unanswered tallies to take a commanding 12-1 advantage with 10 minutes and 59 seconds left in the second quarter.Â
