WATERVILLE, Maine — The North Atlantic Conference announced its 2025 men's soccer preseason coaches' poll on Wednesday, with Maine Maritime Academy picked to finish third.

The Mariners received 77 points, trailing Thomas College, the preseason favorite with 98 points and eight first-place votes, and Husson University, which placed second with 85 points and the remaining two first-place tallies.

SUNY Delhi was picked fourth with 72 points, while the University of Maine at Farmington rounded out the top five with 64 points.

Lesley University finished sixth with 46 points, followed by SUNY Cobleskill (41), the University of Maine at Presque Isle (27), Vermont State University Johnson (26), and Vermont State University Lyndon (14).

The Mariners open the 2025 season on the road Friday, Sept. 29, against the University of New England at 7 p.m.
