CASTINE, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy women's volleyball team unveiled its upcoming 2025 schedule on Monday, featuring 27 games.

"With the 2025 season just around the corner, our Maine Maritime volleyball players are filled with excitement and gratitude to return to the court together," said head women's volleyball coach Jessany Petricevic. "After months of anticipation, they're ready to embrace the challenge, the camaraderie, and the chance to represent MMA with pride. This fall promises to be a season of growth, passion, and unforgettable moments — one we can't wait to share with our community."

MMA opens the 2025 season at the Maine Coast Classic on Aug. 29–30, facing the University of New England, Saint Joseph's College of Maine and the University of Southern Maine.

Following the Maine Coast Classic, the Mariners take on the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Sept. 5 and Colby College on Sept. 6 as part of the Colby Invitational, then travel to face Bates College on Sept. 9.

Next, MMA heads to the Suffolk Tri-Match on Sept. 13 to face Suffolk University and Bridgewater State University, before hosting Vermont State University Lyndon and Mount Saint Mary College on Sept. 20 in another tri-match.

The Mariners travel to Williamstown, Mass., on Sept. 27 for a tri-match against Middlebury College and Williams College and return home to host the University of Maine at Presque Isle on Oct. 7.

Maine Maritime then welcomes SUNY Delhi and St. Norbert College on Oct. 11, followed by matches against SUNY Cobleskill and St. Norbert on Oct. 14 as part of a six-game home stand.

The home stand continues with a matchup against the University of Maine at Fort Kent on Oct. 14, a North Atlantic Conference contest against Thomas College on Oct. 16 and a tri-match against Tufts University and Bowdoin College on Oct. 18.

The Mariners host Husson University on Oct. 22 and Lesley University on Oct. 24 to close out their 2025 home schedule, followed by a tri-match against Mount Holyoke College and Bates on Oct. 25.

Maine Maritime concludes its 2025 regular season on the road with matches against Vermont State University Lyndon on Oct. 31 and Vermont State University Johnson on Nov. 1.
