WATERVILLE, Maine — The North Atlantic Conference announced its weekly volleyball awards Monday, and Maine Maritime Academy swept the honors.
Junior
Sydney Williams was named player of the week after finishing with 42 kills, four assists, two service aces, 16 digs and three blocks while helping the Mariners go 2-1 with wins over Suffolk University and Bridgewater State University.
Sophomore
Hannah Tate earned defensive player of the week honors after posting double-digit digs in all three matches, totaling 44 for the week. She also added eight assists and four service aces.
Freshman
Ayla Altman was selected rookie of the week, recording four service aces and 11 digs across three matches.
