Head men's lacrosse coach Brandon Melville is excited about the challenge the 2026Â schedule presents.
"If you want to continue to progress as a program, you have to seek out elite programs in your region every year," Melville said. "We've built a schedule that will allow this group to grow as the season goes on while also building confidence along the way. We have some elite non-conference opponents with winning pedigrees who consistently compete for conference titles."
Melville highlighted key strengths heading into the season.
"We'll lean on our proven faceoff play and elite goaltending while our defensive unit continues to build chemistry and our offense develops cohesion," Melville added. "We have great athletes and playmakers across the field, which allows us to play a variety of styles."
Despite graduating key contributors from recent conference championship and NCAA tournament teams, Melville is confident in the group returning.
"We have young players who stepped into important roles last season and first-year players who had strong falls and are ready to contribute," Melville concluded. "There won't be any nights off with this schedule, especially with conference teams continuing to improve each year. We're hoping to make our final season in the North Atlantic Conference a memorable one."
