BERVERLY, Mass. — The Conference of New England announced its fall 2025 academic all-conference on Wednesday and Maine Maritime Academy had four football student-athletes honors.
 
Sophomore Lucas Houghton, Matt Gagin, Aidan Sullivan and junior Jackson Pollard were all recognized.
 
In January and June each academic year, the Conference recognizes an Academic All-Conference Team. Each member institution is responsible for determining its qualified student-athletes. Criteria for recognition is: at least sophomore status athletically and academically with one academic year in residence at their current institution; hold a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale; active member of a roster for a Conference-sponsored sport.

The January recognition covers men's and women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's tennis, women's volleyball, field hockey, men's golf, and football. The June recognition includes men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, baseball, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's tennis and men's and women's track and field student-athletes.

Graduate transfers, regardless of enrollment at their current institution, are eligible. First years, freshmen and undergraduate transfers in their first semester at their current institution are not eligible.
