WATERVILLE, Maine – Defending champion Husson University secures the top seed in the 2026 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Lacrosse Championship and will host #2 Maine Maritime Academy on Saturday, May 2 at 4:00 PM.
Both the Eagles and the Mariners finished the regular season with 5-1 conference records. Following the conference championship tiebreaking procedures, Husson holds the tiebreaker over Maine Maritime and will be the #1 seed.
The winner of the 2026 NAC Championship will earn the conference's automatic qualifier to the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament, which begins Saturday, May 9.
The 2026 Women's Lacrosse Championship will be a rematch of last season's title game, as the two teams meet once again. During the 2025 championship, senior Averi Baker scored the game-winning goal with 23 seconds remaining to lift the Eagles to a dramatic 12–11 comeback victory, securing the program's first-ever NAC women's lacrosse title.
