CASTINE, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy cross country team announced its 2026 schedule on Tuesday, featuring nine events for the women's team and five for the men's team.

Bryan Wolf said. "Our goal is simple: be stronger every week, race for each other and see how far we can take this team."
Both teams begin the season on the road Sept. 5 at the NCAA Regional Preview hosted by Bates College in South Portland, Maine.
The following weekend, Sept. 12, the Mariners compete at the North Atlantic Conference Preview hosted by the University of Maine at Farmington.
On Sept. 19, MMA travels to Brunswick, Maine, for the State of Maine Intercollegiate Championship hosted by Bowdoin College.
The women's team then hosts Thomas College and the University of Maine at Presque Isle on Sept. 23 for the second annual Mariner Invite at Wetherill Park.
The Mariners compete at the Thomas Terrier Invite on Oct. 3, followed by the women's team returning to Waterville on Oct. 7 for a head-to-head meet against Thomas and UMPI.
MMA concludes the regular season at the Coach Dann Runnin' Monks Classic on Oct. 17, hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine.
Next up for the Mariners is the NAC Championship meet on Oct. 31, hosted by the University of Maine at Farmington, followed by the NCAA East Regionals on Nov. 14.
