What made you come to Maine Maritime Academy?: My love for the water, ever since I was a kid I wanted to be in the water, from sailing in Boston Harbor or becoming an sailing instructor.
What first got you interested in your sport?: I loved playing hockey and lacrosse is as close as you can get to the sport on a field, however I quickly realized I was enjoying that sport more. I haven't looked back since.
What has been your favorite class at MMA?: Small Vessel Diesel Technology.
What is the best advice your coach has given you?: Consistency whether that is on or off the field.
What motivates you to succeed?: The team around me, I don't do it for myself but for the players who stand next to me.
What is your prized possession?: My camera.
What is your favorite book? (Non-academic): The MindGym.
What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?: I love photography.
What are your hopes for the future?: A sturdy household with a job i love to do.
What is your favorite spot in Castine/on Campus? Why?: Dice Head Light. I live going there around sunset to take photos and here the waves crashing and seeing the light flash.
What are three things you have with you at all times?: My camera, my iPad, and my polo hat.
Which teammate has had the biggest impact on you? Why?: Our senior guys in the past and the present, they always have the best advice whether on or off the field. If you need academic help they have your back or if you need a ride and etc. They are always there for the team.
