Maine Maritime Last Week: Maine Maritime Academy combined for 343 rushing yards in a 21-19 NEFC loss to Salve Regina University in week nine.

Maine Maritime had converted a 4th-and-one play for a would-be go-ahead eight-yard touchdown run by freshman Jacob Doolan (Fairfield, Maine), but the Mariners were flagged for holding to move the ball back 10 yards to the Salve Regina 18. The Seahawks then got a sack from senior defensive lineman Luke Gambale on 4th and 11 for the Mariners with 59 seconds left in the game.

MIT Last Week: A 15-yard touchdown pass from senior Peter Williams to junior Chris McPherson with 7:53 left proved to be the winning score as MIT overcame a second half comeback by Endicott College to take a 34-29 win. The victory kept MIT's school record and season long win streak alive at seven game and was the Engineers' first-ever win over the Gulls in 12 tries.

With the Gulls threatening late, junior Alex Noakes thwarted Endicott's final chance to come away with the win when he intercepted Drew Frenette with four and a half minutes remaining, returning it 19 yards to preserve the victory for MIT and move the Engineers into sole possession of first place in the New England Football Conference standings.
