WESTFIELD, Mass. – Caroline Martin (Scarborough, Maine) led the Mariners on Saturday with her 232nd place finish at the ECAC Championships. Martin navigated the 6K course in a time of 27:41.44.
Hannah Page (Hutchinson, Kan.) was the next finisher for the Mariners in the 338 runner field, with her 318th place finish. Elin Sonesson (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) placed 328th, while Haley Eckert (Harrington, Maine) and Gabrielle Wells (Kittery, Maine) finished back-to-back in 333rd and 334th place respectively.
The Mariners placed 48th as a team. Williams College claimed the team championship, followed by the University of New England.
The Mariners will continue to prepare for the NCAA Regionals, where they will compete next Saturday, November 15th at Williams College.
