WATERVILLE, Maine – Senior Jessica Faltings (Northport, N.Y.) led Maine Maritime Academy women's cross country at Saturday's non-team scoring Colby Invitational.

Faltings placed 25th overall, and 13th among female runners, in the 6K race with a time of 29:52.89. Alex Allen (Easton, Maine) placed just behind Faltings in 26th, while Abigail L'Abbé (Topsham, Maine) placed 32nd, Robyn Larrabee (Caribou, Maine) placed 34th and Sierra James (Campton, N.H.) came in 37th.

Thomas' Jarrod Ottman finished first overall among the 46 runners with a time of 21:01.87.

The Mariners return to action on Saturday, October 15 at the State of Maine Championships, hosted by Bates College at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine.
