POULTNEY, Vt. – Sierra James (Campton, N.H.) led Maine Maritime Academy women's cross country to a sixth place finish at Saturday's Green Mountain Invitational. 

James placed 13^th out of 71 runners, finishing the 5K course in 21:25. Abigail L'Abbé (Topsham, Maine) and Alex Allen (Easton, Maine) finished back-to-back in 44^th and 45^th places. Robyn Larrabee (Caribou, Maine) placed 47^th and Jessica Lindsay (Limestone, Maine) rounded out the top five finishers for Maine Maritime in 62^nd place. 

Castleton University's Kaylyn Crompton finished first overall. Saint Joseph's College of Maine took the team victory placing four runners in the top 10.

Maine Maritime returns to action on Friday, October 19 at the Thomas College Invitational.
