Series History: The Beacons hold a 2-0 all-time advantage over the Mariners.

Last Meeting: The two teams last met in 2013, with the Beacons taking a 14-9 victory in Massachusetts.

Maine Maritime Academy's Last Game: Maine Maritime Academy men's lacrosse cruised to a 22-4 non-conference victory over Becker College on Wednesday evening at Alumni Field.

The Mariners went on a 13-goal run to open up the game and never looked back on their way to victory.

Jayden Wilson (Lewiston, Maine) led the Mariners with five goals and set a Maine Maritime men's lacrosse single-game record with nine assists. 

Jacob Belanger (Brunswick, Maine) tallied five goals and an assist, Sawyer Watson (Topsham, Maine) recorded four goals and an assist and Evan Golembeske (New Milford, Conn.) contributed three goals and an assist. Caden White (Woodstock, Vt.) recorded two goals and two assists, while Alex Snowman (Sarasota, Fla.) chipped in with a pair of goals, Oliver Bird (Brunswick, Maine) tallied a goal and Zeke Tocci (Naples, Maine) recorded three assists.

Defensively, Ian Haines (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) led the Mariners with a game-high 12 ground balls and four caused turnovers. Both A. Snowman and Jed Astbury (Bridgewater, Vt.) went 10-of-12 from the face off.

Phil Garcia led the Hawks with two goals, while Matt Guerin and Chris Bullock both added a goal. Ryan Clifford led Becker with five ground balls.

Garrett Ruszkowski (Saugus, Mass.) earned the victory in net for the Mariners, collecting three saves in three quarters of play, while Becker's Trey McMillen stopped 13 shots in just over 25 minutes in net, and Daniel Whittenburg recorded 14 saves in relief.

The Mariners dominated from the face off going 25-of-30, while also holding a 48-22 advantage in ground balls and an 83-18 advantage in shots.

UMass Boston's Last Game: UMass Boston men's lacrosse defeated Emmanuel College, 26-13, on Wednesday afternoon at James Cotter Field.

UMass Boston dominated the opening quarter of the contest as they scored 10 goals, while holding the Saints to just three tallies.

They continued the scoring in the second stanza adding another 10 goals to take a 20-7 lead into the halftime break. Emmanuel responded in the third quarter with a 5-0 run of their own to make it 20-12.

In the final quarter, Conor Lenfest eliminated any chance of an Emmanuel comeback as he scored four goals in the span of less than three minutes to double the Beacons lead (24-12). Emmanuel scored their final goal at the 8:28 mark, but the Beacons sealed the victory with goals from Mic Flynn and Seth Child.

Lenfest finished the afternoon with 10 goals, three assists, and had three ground balls.  Gavin Admirand registered three goals and five assists, while Darragh Fahey finished with three goals and an assist.

Trevor Koppy picked-up his third win between the posts as he made four saves on 11 shots through the first 30 minutes. Charlie Cook completed the win, and made three saves.

Chris Palin picked-up four caused turnovers, while adding four ground balls to his stat line. Jack Dobrzynski went 23-for-25 on the face off.  He added a season-high 19 ground balls.

The Mariners: After three games the Mariners average 12.67 goals and 52.33 shots per game, while averaging 84.6 percent on clear opportunities and 45.0 percent on man-up opportunities. In the first three games, Maine Maritime averages 79.0 percent on the face off.

Jayden Wilson leads the Mariners with nine goals and 12 assists, while Sawyer Watson has seven goals and two assists, Jacob Belanger has seven goals and an assist and Evan Golembeske has six goals and an assist. Ian Haines leads the Mariners with 19 ground balls and seven caused turnovers.

Jed Astbury leads the Mariners from the face off, going 23-of-27, while goalie Garrett Ruszkowski leads the team with 24 saves, while allowing 10 goals for a 70.6 save percentage.

The Beacons: After three games the Beacons average 24.67 goals and 79.33 shots per game, while averaging 85.7 percent on clear opportunities and 50.0 percent on the man-up. In the first three games, UMass Boston averages 70.4 percent on the face off.

Conor Lenfest leads the Beacons with 22 games and five assists, while teammate Gavin Admirand has 16 goals and a team-best 12 assists. Jack Dobrzynski leads the team with 34 ground balls, going 52-of-66 from the face off and both Darragh Fahey and Chris Palin lead the way with five caused turnovers.

In net, Trevor Koppy has collected 21 saves while allowing 18 goals, for a 53.8 save percentage.
