BRISTOL, R.I.--The Maine Maritime Academy men's wrestling team made its 2024-25 season debut on Saturday at the 12-team Roger Williams University Invitational held at the RWU Hawks Field House.

Bradford Zajac and freshman
Trevor Llewellyn led the way by winning matches. At 165 pounds, Zajac defeated Norwich's Ethan Tanner in 42 seconds in his second match; he went 1-2 on the day. Llewellyn went 1-2 at 125 pounds, defeating Andrew Maher from Plymouth State with a 57-second fall.
The Mariners, who are idle next weekend, are back in action on Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Springfield College Invitational in Springfield, Mass.Â
