BLOOMINGTON, Minn.--For the second time in as many week, a Maine Maritime Academy women's basketball student-athlete--senior guard
Erianna Moore (Fitchburg, Mass./Worcester Academy)--was named to the
Scoutware/D3hoops.com National Team of the Week. the media outlet that covers NCAA Division III basketball announced on Tuesday. Moore also was named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Co-Player of the Week on Monday.
Moore led MMA to a 2-0 week, scoring 21 points per game and dishing out 14 total assists against just one turnover per game. She shot 52 percent from the floor and a blistering 58 percent (11-19) from deep. In a win over UMaine-Farmington, she led all scorers with 20 points on a game-high-tying four 3-pointers, passed for six assists, made two steals and had three rebounds. Then in a convincing victory over local rival Husson to clinch the No. 1 NAC East Division seed, she led all student-athletes with 21 points on 7-for-9 shooting from three-point land and a season-high eight assists.

Sydney Briscoe made her debut on the Scoutware/D3hoops.com National Team of the Week. Briscoe and Moore give Maine Maritime two D3TOW honorees in the same year for the first time since 2007, as the Mariners receive the sixth citation (five individuals) in program history. With

This is the 28th season that D3hoops.com has selected the Team of the Week, which honors the top player nationally at each position from the previous week.
Maine Maritime wraps up the regular season this weekend with home games against NAC opponent UMaine-Presque Isle on Friday (5:30 p.m.) and non-conference foe UMaine-Fort Kent on Saturday (1 p.m.) for Senior Day.
