In addition, Maine Maritime was selected as the NAC Coaching Staff of the Year. Led by 24-year head coach Craig Dagan, along with assistants Mark Moran and Caitlyn Pavalkis the Mariners won the East Division title with a 13-0 conference record and 88-59 tournament victory over Husson, recorded a 23-4 overall record for their fifth-straight 20-win season (excluding 2021 COVID-19 year), and earned a NAC championship berth for the third season in a row. On Dec. 7, Dagan reached the 400-win plateau with MMA's 67-45 victory over UMaine-Farmington to become the 48th active women's basketball coach in Division III to reach that milestone.

Moore led the Mariners in scoring with 12.5 points per game, which ranks ninth in the NAC, on 43.4 percent shooting from the field (108-249), 39.4 from the three-point line (50-127) and 78.6 from the free throw stripe (33-42). She also is first with 4.5 assists and 11th with 6.4 rebounds per game, as well as topping the assist-to-turnover ratio chart (+2.1). The two-time Scoutware/D3hoops.com National Team of the Week honoree who surpassed 1,000 career points this season collected two NAC weekly certificates (1 POW, 1 DPOW). She is a three-time All-NAC performer including first team in back-to-back seasons.

Briscoe leads MMA with a NAC-third-best 9.9 rebounding average. A two-time NAC Defensive Player of the Week and D3TOW honoree (Feb. 4), she averages 11.9 points for 10th in the conference. She also is third in the conference with a team-best .804 free throw percentage (82-102). She established career highs for points (320), blocked shots (20), rebounds (267; 26th in NCAA III), free throw and field goal percentage (.578; 119-206), while ranking 37th in Division III with 11 double-doubles.

Dagan, who set a school record with a conference-best 85 three-pointers made this season, leads the NAC with a .436 three-point field goal percentage (85-195)--good for eighth in the nation. Her 85 treys are also fourth in NCAA Division III and only 10 behind the leader. She has posted a career season that includes 11.3 points per game, 60 rebounds, eight blocks, .833 free throw percentage (10-12), field goal percentage (.459; 105-229) and three-point accuracy.

Grindel has chipped in 1.1 points and 1.2 rebounds in a career-best 23 appearances. She also dished 26 assists and had six steals for personal records this season. As a MMA representative on the NAC Sportsmanship Team, she has exhibited nothing but the upmost respect for her teammates and Mariner opponents each and every day. She is one of the team leaders and has approached each game with the necessary amount of respect in the preparation and especially on game day. She is always respectful of the team we are playing and of the game of basketball itself.
