CASTINE, Maine – Hazel Stoddard (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) has been selected to represent Maine Maritime Academy in the 2025 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Senior All-Star Game. Stoddard will compete as a member of the Division III Blue squad.
A standout senior midfielder, Stoddard was named the 2025 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Player of the Year and earned First-Team All-Conference honors. She led the Mariners to an appearance in the NAC Championship game, finishing the season with an impressive 94 points on 57 goals and 37 assists.
Stoddard concludes a record-breaking career at Maine Maritime as the program's all-time leader in points (384), goals (284), assists (100), shots attempted (515), man-up goals (31), ground balls (232), caused turnovers (116), and draw controls (413).
The IWLCA Senior All-Star Game showcases 52 of the top graduating seniors in Division III women's lacrosse. Players and coaches are nominated by their respective head coaches and selected by the IWLCA coaching staffs. The annual event provides seniors with one final opportunity to represent their programs on the national stage and honors their exceptional contributions to the sport.
The 2025 Senior All-Star Games will be held on Saturday, May 31, at Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. The Division II game will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET, followed by the Division III game at 12:30 p.m., and concluding with the Division I game at 3:00 p.m. Admission to all three games is free of charge. Please note that the Senior All-Star games will not be streamed.
