WATERVILLE, Maine — The North Atlantic Conference announced its weekly awards on Monday and Maine Maritime Academy women's basketball senior
Jacquelin Castro earned player of the week honors.
Castro averaged 13.7 points per game on the week and 18.5 points in conference matchups. Castro tallied 19 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals and recorded a 22-point, 10-rebound double-double in just 18 minutes against Vermont State University Johnson.
