What made you come to Maine Maritime Academy?: I came here because of the high reputation it has in making successful individuals through leadership, hands on training, and an amazing athletic environment.
What first got you interested in your sport?: My friends back in 6th grade begged me to play soccer and since then I've loved it.
What has been your favorite class at MMA?: Fundamentals of Engineering.
What is the best advice your coach has given you?: We are students first, athletes second.
What motivates you to succeed?: I strive to succeed for my family.
What is your prized possession?: My jeep.
What is your favorite book? (Non-academic): Make Your Bed by Admiral William H. McRaven.
What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?: I have never been on the ocean before coming to orientation.
What are your hopes for the future?: I hope to ship out for eight to 15 years and come back landslide to work and spend time with family.
Which teammate has had the biggest impact on you? Why?: Dalton Moore. He was my 'buddy' during soccer season and taught me all about putting the team over yourself and that respect comes first. (All of my seniors had huge impacts on me one way or another).
Tell us about something outside of MMA and athletics that you are really interested in: I really enjoy hunting and fishing with friends and family. Mostly hunting with great grandfather 'Poppy'.
Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why?: Derek Jeter. He had taught the sport world the meaning behind 'Re2pect'.
