What made you come to Maine Maritime Academy?: I have always been interested in engineering and once I knew how successful the school was and that I could continue my soccer career it felt like I had no other choice.
What first got you interested in your sport?: I have grown up playing sports my whole life and soccer just grew on me. After high school I knew I wanted to play another four years wherever I ended up.
What has been your favorite class at MMA?: Power Equipment Lab.
What is the best advice your coach has given you?: That we as soccer players are student-athletes therefor our education is more important than the game of soccer. Sometimes I disagree.
What motivates you to succeed?: Seeing how successful my dad was and what he did for others, he is my biggest motivation, but on a smaller scale just seeing and hearing how successful the student-athletes are that leave MMA also gives me a lot of motivation.
What is your prized possession?: My shoes.
What is your favorite book? (Non-academic): Into The Raging Sea.
What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?: I was actually born in Texas.
What are your hopes for the future?: Once I graduate with degree in Marine Engineering Technology I would like to ship out for at least five years and depending on how that goes either stay out on the water or find something shoreside.
Tell us about something you are involved with here at MMA?: The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
What has been your favorite moment so far while playing at MMA?: My favorite sports moment was scoring the game winning goal against Thomas clinching the NAC #1 seed.
Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why?: Lebron James, He Is More Than An Athlete.
