What made you come to Maine Maritime Academy? I wanted to do a science major and play soccer as well. The SVO program is a plus to further pursue more options in a career.
What first got you interested in your sport? My father playing soccer with me at a young age.
What has been your favorite class at MMA? Ocean Survival
What is the best advice your coach has given you? Be the play-maker. Be creative.
What motivates you to succeed? Each game that I succeed in allows me to share my passion for everyone watching to experience and hopefully enjoy the beautiful game as much as I do.
What is your prized possession? A silver bracelet my mom gave me.
What is your favorite book? (Non-academic) James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl.
What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you? I enjoy gardening and landscaping.
What are your hopes for the future? Potentially work in a career that deals with wildlife conservation and to keep playing soccer.
What is your favorite spot in Castine/on Campus? Why? Witherle Woods. A scenic place to get fresh air and to give yourself a break from your studies.
Tell us about a summer experience related to MMA? I helped with a MMA women's college soccer camp that included about 270 female high school students.
What has been your favorite moment so far while playing at MMA? When I scored the quarterfinal winning goal against Husson University.
