What made you come to Maine Maritime Academy? The great education I will receive and the "family atmosphere" that surrounds the community.
What first got you interested in your sport? I grew up in a Basketball atmosphere, due to my dad being a varsity coach in the state for over 25 years, and I have always loved and studied the game.
What has been your favorite class at MMA? Marketing.
What is the best advice your coach has given you? Pay attention to the little things because in they end they make the biggest difference.
What motivates you to succeed? I would say winning is the biggest motivator for me. Nothing is better than being the best.
What is your prized possession? My gamecube.
What is your favorite book? (Non-academic) Game of Thrones.
What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you? Nicholas is a family name, so technically I'm Nicholas III.
What are your hopes for the future? I hope to have the opportunity to travel with whatever job I land after graduation.
What advice do you have for incoming freshman? Get involved, ask questions and don't be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone.
What has been your favorite moment so far while playing at MMA? Traveling to Montreal for a preseason tournament last year.
Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why? My favorite professional athlete is Tom Brady. He is the definition of greatness.
