What made you come to Maine Maritime Academy? The Academy's academic reputation and the job placement.
What first got you interested in your sport? Watching the Boston Celtics at a young age.
What has been your favorite class at MMA? Production and Operations Management.
What is the best advice your coach has given you? Coach tells me to just play ball, and it helps me relax on the court to let the game come to me. He is always there with advice for any off-court situation as well.
What motivates you to succeed? When I was in middle school I was cut from the team. Ever since I have used that to motivate me.
What is your prized possession? High school basketball that I was given after my senior night.
What is your favorite book? (Non-academic) Moneyball.
What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you? I was very out of shape and did not get into good shape until my freshman year of high school.
What are your hopes for the future? I want to live in Southern Maine, doing a job that gives me a good mixture of being in the office and in the field.
Tell us about something you are involved with here at MMA? Student Athletic Advisory Council and Student Mariner Society. SAAC provides a link between the NCAA and student-athletes. Student Mariner Society does many things on campus for students.
What is your greatest challenge? Time management. School, basketball, and work leave me with very little free time. It is often hard to juggle these three activities.
What has been your favorite moment so far while playing at MMA? Home game against Thomas my sophomore year. I shot the lights out and we had a great crowd, the gym was packed.
