Resch tied his own school-record of six touchdown passes set when he came off the bench during his freshman season and threw for a school-record 469 yards and six touchdowns in a 76-49 home loss to Maine Maritime.
Resch threw a pair of first quarter touchdowns to senior tight end Casey Paris from 17 and three yards for a 14-0 lead.
Meggers caught a 6-yard touchdown before backup tight end junior Ethan Baisden caught his first career touchdown, a 1-yard pass from Resch with 2:34 left in the first half as the Bears led 28-0 at halftime.
Maine Maritime junior fullback Billy Wetherbee, who led the Mariners with 17 carries for 153 yards scored both Mariner touchdowns in the fourth quarter. He got the team on the board with a 7-yard run before breaking a 65-yard touchdown run with 4:58 left to close the scoring.
Freshman quarterback Michael Fahey carried 30 times for 122 yards as the Mariners finished with 360 total yards, 307 rushing and 53 passing.
Mariners Last Game: Maine Maritime jumped out to 28-21 lead in the first half, before Endicott rallied with five unanswered scores in the second half to secure a 53-28 win.
Maine Maritime gained its 28-21 halftime lead thanks mostly to hard-nose running from senior fullback Billy Wetherbee and senior running back Ryan O'Neal. Wetherbee carried the ball 34 times for 171 yards and O'Neal broke off big runs and eclipsed the 100-yard mark with two touchdowns in the opening half. The Mariners finished with 366 yards rushing.
The Gulls saw sophomore running back Spencer Walsh accumulate 221 yards of total offense, 191 on the ground with two touchdowns and 30 yards receiving with another score, while junior quarterback Drew Frenette connected on 24-of-34 pass attempts for 324 yards and five touchdowns with one pick.
Bears Last Game: Junior fullback Jordan Shairs rushed for 161 yards and a score and also caught a touchdown pass leading Curry to a 27-24.
Coast Guard junior Jake Wawrzyniak's 2-yard touchdown run with 2:37 left pulled the Bears to within 27-24, but Curry recovered the onsides kick and senior Phil Bigelow (23 carries, 69 yards) converted a 4th and 1 with 2:10 left at the Bears 23-yard line to run the clock out.
The Bears had their two-game win streak snapped and suffered their first conference loss of the season dropping to 2-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play while Curry improved to 2-3 overall and 1-2 in the NEFC.
It was Coast Guard's third road game of the season, all three have been loses by seven points or less.
National Rankings: The Mariners are second in Division III with 369.8 yards per game. They trail Washington & Lee (370 ypg) by just .2 yards per game.
What a rush: Wetherbee is second the conference with 598 yards rushing and first with 149.5 yards per game. Fahey ranks fifth with 75.2 yards per game and O'Neal tops the conference with 8.3 yards per carry.
Wetherbee is 155 yards shy of tying Todd Murphy '10 for 10th on the school's all-time rushing list. Murphy finished with 1,917 yards, Wetherbee currently has rushed for 1,762 yards.
