Maine Maritime's women's cross country team opened the 2014 season at the Fourth Annual Mayflower Kickoff with a ninth place finish in a field of 10 teams.
Salve Regina grabbed the team win with four runners finishing in the top 10, including the top three individual runners overall. Colby-Sawyer College placed second, followed by Gordon College, Norwich College and Babson College.
