BRUNSWICK, Maine – Women's cross country placed seventh at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Husson's Chrissy Larrabee captured the individual win with a time of 23:23.51, followed by Lucy Skinner from Bowdoin with a time of 23:33.81. Bates College placed five of the top 10 runners to capture the team victory with a final score of 29.

The Mariners were led by Caroline Martin (Scarborough, Maine) who placed 71^st overall, with a time of 29:03.01, followed by Hannah Page (Hutchinson, Kan.) who placed 83^rd with a time of 31:45.31.

Elin Sonesson (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) placed 86^th, followed by Kristine Mehuren (Searsmont, Maine) who finished 89^th.

Running on their first 6k course of the year, the Mariners had a combined team score of 215.

Maine Maritime will return to action on Saturday, October 4^th  where they will split the team and travel to Keene State for the Keene State Invitational, and Colby College for the Colby Invitational.
