POULTNEY, Vt. – Maine Maritime Academy women's basketball cruised to a 92-34 victory over Green Mountain College on Saturday afternoon, in North Atlantic Conference play.

The Mariners put together a 14-0 run to take a 19-5 lead into the second quarter, and never looked back, leading by as much as 58 points with 1:11 to go in the game.

Alayne Felix (Mahopac, N.Y.) led the Mariners with a game-high 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists, while Kristi Willey (Topsham, Maine) and Mackenzie Vosburgh (Rhinebeck, N.Y.) added 14 points each. Willey added five rebounds and two assists while Vosburgh contributed three assists and a pair of boards.

Bekah Campbell (Corinth, Maine) added 11 points, an assist, a rebound and a block, and Amanda Holewiak (Somerset, Mass.) rounded out the Mariners in double digits with 10 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists. Megan McLean (Eliot, Maine) dished out a team-leading five helpers, while Alex Winchester (Hampden, Maine) and McLean tallied four steals each.

Torie Cowell led the Eagles with 11 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a block and Mercedes Rideout added eight points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal.

The Mariners improve to 15-8 overall and 11-5 in conference play, while the Eagles fall to 1-21 on the season and 0-16 in NAC play. Maine Maritime returns to action on Wednesday, February 17 when they host Maine-Farmington at 5:30 p.m., for Senior Recognition Night.
