Plymouth, N.H. – Maine Maritime Academy women's swimming fell to Plymouth State University on Friday afternoon 128-103 in PSU Natatorium.
Meet Highlights:
- The relay team of Tamra Miller (South Thomaston, Maine), Ellie Gellerson (Blue Hill, Maine), Audrey Aragon (Miami, Fla.), and Samantha Durkin (Green Lane, Penn.) placed second in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 2:17.30
- Milo Cook-Sharp (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) placed second in the 400 yard IM with a time of 5:25.02
- Avery Nelson (Dover-Foxcroft, Maine) placed third in the 200 yard free with a time of 2:51.81
- Miller finished second in the 50 yard back with a time of 34.04
- Cook-Sharp placed second in the 50 yard breast with a time of 37.59
- Hannah Butland (Cumberland, Maine) finished second in the 50 yard free with a time of 29.24
- Durkin placed third in the 100 yard free with a time of 1:11.36
- Miller placed second in the 100 yard back with a time of 1:12.65
- Gellerson won the 100 yard breast with a time of 1:23.91
- Aragon placed second in the 500 yard free with a time of 6:25.50
- Butland won the 50 yard butterfly with a time of 32.12, while Cook-Sharp placed second with a time of 32.37, and Ashlyn Royal (Bucksport, Maine) finished third with a time of 43.77
- Miller won the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:38.68
- Relay team of Butland, Cook-Sharp, Roxanna MacGregor (Eastport, Maine) and Makena Merideth (Port Angeles, Wash.) won the 200 yard free relay with a time of 2:04.39
The Mariners return to action tomorrow afternoon, January 25, when they travel to Colby-Sawyer College to take on Colby-Sawyer and Gordon College at 1:00 PM.
