BANGOR, Maine – Maine Maritime Academy women's swimming and diving team raced against Husson University and fell by a final score of 131-163.
 
Women's Team Highlights:

• The team of Natasha Kopeck, Milo Cook-Sharp, Kylie Cantlon, and Rayelle Brewer placed first in the 400 yard freestyle relay, finishing the relay in 4:18.37.
• Milo Cook-Sharp earned a first place finish for the Mariners in the 1000 yard freestyle with a final time of 12:34.52. In the 500 yard freestyle, Cook-Sharp placed second (6:20.67).
• Coming in right behind Cook-Sharp, Kylie Cantlon placed second in the 1000 yard freestyle by a time of 12:45.96.
• Rayelle Brewer placed second in the 200 yard freestyle (2:06.90), 100 yard freestyle (1:00.31), and 50 yard butterfly (31.44).
• In the 50 yard backstroke, the Mariners secured first and second from Liza Zhukov (31.52) and Natasha Kopeck (32.02).
• Claire MacDonald gave the Mariners another first place finish in the 100 yard backstroke (1:12.00). MacDonald also  placed second in the 100 yard butterfly, touching the wall at 1:11.78.
• Zhukov also brought home a second place finish for the Mariners in the 50 yard freestyle (28.74).
• On the diving board, Natasha Kopeck placed second in the one meter dive securing 130.45 points.
• In the 100 yard breaststroke, Sage Dentremont placed second (1:28.25).
