COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.--The Maine Maritime Academy came in 17th place at the 2025 Will Abele Open hosted by Ursinus College over the weekend in the Floy Lewis Bakes Center.

Paving the way for the Mariners was sophomore Isa Thesing who finished in the top eight at 160 pounds after a pair of pins. Thesing lost to the champion and third place winner.

Maine Maritime will be idle until Saturday, Feb. 1, at the NCAA Division II Frostburg State Bobcat Open in Frostburg, Md.
