BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Maine Maritime Academy women's wrestling competed in the Bridgeport Open on Saturday, hosted by the University of Bridgeport.
At 131 pounds, sophomore Kylie Coxon dropped all five of her matches, four by pinfall and one by technical fall.
At 145 pounds, freshman Mary Smith went 1-2. After dropping her first two matches by pinfall, she picked up a win by forfeit.
Junior Isa Thesing dropped both of her matches at 160 pounds, the first by default and the second by pinfall.
At 207 pounds, sophomore Courtney Clifton went 1-1. She fell by pin in her first match and earned a pinfall victory in her second.
