CASTINE, Maine — Maine Maritime Academy announced that
Jeremy Pease has resigned as head men's golf coach.
"Coach Pease made a positive impact on our student-athletes both on and off the course," Director of Athletics
Bill Mottola said. "His dedication to player development, academics and team culture helped move our program forward. We are grateful for his service and wish him the very best."
Pease took over the program prior to the 2025-26 season and guided the Mariners to a fourth-place finish at the North Atlantic Conference Championship while coaching two NAC All-Conference selections.
Under Pease, Maine Maritime captured the University of Maine at Presque Isle Invitational title with a team score of 313 and posted five top-five finishes during the season.
Prior to taking over the golf program, Pease served as both an assistant coach and head coach of the women's lacrosse program for two seasons and made a positive impact on Mariners student-athletes.
Maine Maritime will begin an immediate search for its next head men's golf coach. In the interim, head women's basketball coach
Craig Dagan will oversee the program.
