CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime Academy men's basketball fell to Pine Manor College 95-69 on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action inside of Smith Gymnasium.

How it Happened: The Gators used a 10-point run to take a 24-14 lead at 11:18 and carried a 48-34 advantage into halftime.

The two teams exchanged baskets early in the second half, but the Gators held on to their double-digit lead to claim the win.

Inside the Numbers: Andrew Liebert (Plano, Texas) led the Mariners with 15 points, six rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block, while Devin Boone (Greenville, Maine) contributed a career-high 10 points to go along with five rebounds and an assist.

Jalen Williams led the Gators with 23 points, four assists, three rebounds and two steals, while Jamal Hamans recorded 19 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two assists. Sayvonn Houston tallied a double-double with 14 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, while also contributing a block and Jalen Bruce chipped in with 13 points, three steals, two assists and a rebound.

Maine Maritime shot 41.1 percent from the floor and 36.4 percent from three-point land, while the Gators shot 46.6 percent overall and 37.9 percent from beyond the arc. The Gators held a 48-35 advantage in rebounds.

Up Next: With the loss the Mariners fall to 3-11 overall, while the Gators improve to 4-14. Maine Maritime returns to action on Monday, when they host UMaine-Fort Kent at 4:00 pm for a non-conference matchup.
