CASTINE, Maine – Maine Maritime women's swimming fell to the University of New England, 169-89 on Saturday afternoon.
Highlights:
• Relay team of Liza Zhukov (Barrington, R.I), Ellie Gellerson (Blue Hill, Maine), Kaitlyn Reny (Lewiston, Maine), and Zayna Dickson (Urbandale, Iowa) took third in the 400 Yard Medley Relay (4:33.17)
• Milo Cook-Sharp (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) set a Bok Pool and Maine Maritime team record in the 1000 Yard Freestyle (12:22.43)
• Dickson took second in the 200 Yard Freestyle (2:14.57)
• Natasha Kopeck (Manchester Center, Vt.) placed second in the 100 Yard Backstroke (1:12.34)
• Gellerson placed second in the 50 Yard Breaststroke (35.89)
• Cook-Sharp took second in the 100 Yard Butterfly (1:12.51), while Reny placed third (1:15.95)
• Zhukov placed first in the 50 Yard Freestyle (28.07), while Dickson took third (28.91)
• Eva Schulz (Evergreen, Colo.) took second in the 100 Yard Freestyle (1:04.96)
• Zhukov set a Maine Maritime team record in the 200 Yard Backstroke (2:30.41)
• Gellerson took second in the 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:20.30)
• Dickson took second in the 500 Yard Freestyle (6:03.14), while Cook-Sharp placed third (6:13.60)
• Reny took third in the 50 Yard Butterfly (32.37)
• Zhukov placed second in the 100 Yard IM (1:13.56), while Reny took third (1:14.44)
