Box Score LEXINGTON, Mass.--Maine Maritime Academy scored three goals over a span of 6 minutes and 3 seconds overlapping both halves to earn a 3-1 come-from-behind win at Lesley University on Saturday at Minuteman High School Field, clinching the No. 2 seed in the 2024 North Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament that starts next weekend.
The Mariners improve to 7-7-2 overall and 6-3-1 with 19 points in the NAC East Division, while the Lynx drop to 3-12-1 on the season and 2-7-1 in the NAC-East.
Maine Maritime head coach
Billy Shannon said after the game, "Respect to Lesley for playing well, and competing to the last whistle today. They were organized and made it difficult to get anything going in the first half. And honestly, they kept us from creating much at all in the attack until a late passage of play from
Dillon Wilkinson, Gabe Toledo and
John-John Dickenson that resulted in the equalizer."
