WATERVILLE, Maine — The North Atlantic Conference announced its men's soccer preseason coaches' poll on Wednesday and Maine Maritime Academy was picked third.
The Mariners finished third with 46 points, trailing Husson University who was picked as the preseason favorite with 61 points and five first-place votes, followed by Thomas College who finished second with 59 points and the remaining three first-place tallies.
The University of Maine at Farmington followed Maine Maritime with 42 points, followed by Lesley University (30), Vermont State University Johnson (24), University of Maine at Presque Isle (16) and Vermont State University Lyndon (10).
The Mariners their 2026 season at home against the University of New England on Sept. 1 at 7 p.m.
