BRISTOL, R.I. — The Maine Maritime Academy men's wrestling team returned to the mat on Saturday competing at the Scott Viera Open hosted by Roger Williams University.

Kyle Stickel, freshman Takuma Steinburger, sophomore Trevor Llewelyn, freshman
Wyatt Weaver and sophomore
Wyndham Freeman all competed for the Mariners.
Stickel picked up a 12-3 win by major decision for MMA and
Takuma Steinberger added a 7-3 victory by decision.
MMA returns to the mat on Jan. 10 when it competes at the Mariner Duals hosted by the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, N.Y. at 3 p.m.
